Biography |
In October 1987, I was told about 'an ugly big grey horse' with good movement and a great jump, a few hours north of Adelaide. The owner of the horse was pregnant and wanted to sell him., so we drove to Saddleworth to see him, supposedly for Greg. as we were looking for a horse for him to ride.
He had been bought as a yearling, broken in and started by local Riverland girl Peggy Stewart, was around 4 yrs old and had done a little dressage and jumping but nothing official. He had a large scar on one hind pastern and I very nearly didn't buy him but when I saw him move, and then jump- I thought I'd better have first ride.. So I rode him, fell in love with him, and the rest is history!
